Test Solutions
Columbia Tech's Test Group consists of a team of diversified engineers and senior level technicians providing test equipment and procedure development solutions to a wide range of customers across many industries. Our Test Services Group has earned a reputation of conceptualizing and designing cost effective, comprehensive functional test equipment to meet a wide and unique range of customer-driven test requirements across a broad product mix.
Testing services performed on PCB's include, but are not limited to,the following:
- No load, power testing up to 440V AC 3,or 100V DC
- Hi-pot test up to 5000V AC / DC
- Extended cycling (100 hours plus per unit)
- Burn in of subassemblies and completely assembled machines
- Pneumatic and vacuum system operational tests
- Lab view based functional tests of control systems for deep well drilling monitoring systems
- Gas bench testing of the emissions testing controls using bottled emissions gas
- Testing dynamometer drive control panels connected to a functioning dynamometer
- Test and burn in flow meters and transducers used in large water and sewer systems
- Hydrostatic test and underwater operational test of transducers
- Perform operational test and burn in of material handling robots
- Load operating system software and test wireless gateway systems
- Configure, calibrate and burn in Automated Optical Inspection systems [AOI], data log all the operating parameters and transmit to customers data bank
- Functional testing of PCBs (thru-hole and SMT)
- X-Ray inspection
- Management of ICT, HASS, HALT, and thermal test requirements
- General continuity, resistance, diode and Hi-pot testing using a broad range of Cirris test equipment
- On-site refrigeration and temperature control monitoring
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
- In-circuit testing (via third party)
- Ball grid rework station
Columbia Tech is fully equipped and staffed to provide functional test services to verify computer control functions, power delivery and distribution, and mechanical operation. We are prepared to design, engineer and build specialized test equipment as well as use standard and customer-supplied testing gear. In addition, our services include burn-in, extended cycle testing and MTBF testing.
