Cogmedix, the medical device product development and manufacturing subsidiary of Coghlin Companies, Inc., is proud to announce that it was recently awarded the top honor in Worcester Business Journal‘s Manufacturing Excellence Awards. Cogmedix was chosen as the “General Manufacturing Excellence” winner in the large company category in the popular magazine’s annual ceremony.
“We are honored to receive this award from the Worcester Business Journal,” says Chris Coghlin, President and CEO of Coghlin Companies. “We are thankful to all of our dedicated Caring Associates, customers, and suppliers who helped make this possible. We are optimistic for the future of Cogmedix and excited to continue growing and enhancing our value proposition.”
Started in 2016, Worcester Business Journal’s Manufacturing Excellence Awards are designed to honor the many ways the industry contributes to the region. Manufacturing is recognized both as an economic cornerstone and a contributor to the future of Central Massachusetts. Cogmedix’s recent win places them alongside other notable companies like Aaron Industries Corporation, Phillips Precision, Inc., and Space Age Electronics, Inc.—all winners in last year’s inaugural Manufacturing Excellence Awards.
In the nine years since the company’s inception, Cogmedix has grown its team to over 100 experienced, passionate Caring Associates. Cogmedix prides itself on its ability to not only design and manufacture highly customized medical devices for global innovators, but also on the high priority it places on compliance, reliability, serviceability, safety, and cost.
