Coghlin Companies and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Columbia Tech and Cogmedix, have all been named as winners of the 2017 Best Places to Work, hosted by the Telegram & Gazette.
“Our Caring Associates are the most important asset we have,” says Coghlin Companies President and CEO Chris Coghlin. “We work hard to maintain a culture and environment built on trust, respect, continuous improvement, and innovation—we are extremely proud to have received these awards and couldn’t have done it without the passion and commitment of each and every Caring Associate.”
The contest highlights large companies (over 500 employees), medium companies (200–500 employees) and small companies (1–200 employees) in the Central Massachusetts area. Companies are nominated by employees and community members, and the winners are determined by a public vote on specific workplace attributes including Best Overall Leadership, Best Workplace Culture, and Best Training Program.
Coghlin Companies and its subsidiaries were voted the winners in all six categories for which they were nominated. Columbia Tech was voted the Most Innovative Workplace and the Best Workplace Culture for a medium company, while Cogmedix was voted the Most Innovative Workplace for a small company. Coghlin Companies won Best Company Party, and President and CEO, Chris Coghlin, was awarded Best Boss.
Winning these awards reflects the Coghlin Companies commitment to providing their Caring Associates with a positive workplace that fosters a sense of community. Each associate is seen as a part of the Coghlin family and is responsible for affirming and supporting the other members. The successes of this approach are made evident by the reliable, high-quality services provided by the Coghlin Companies.
