Members of the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA) recently elected Cogmedix Director of Quality and Compliance Scott Cook to Vice President of the organization. In his role as VP, Cook will leverage experience from over ten years of membership with SQA and seventeen years in FDA regulated businesses.
A professional membership society dedicated to prom oting and advancing the principles and knowledge of quality assurance essential to human, animal and environmental health, SQA provides professional development, education and training for over 2,500 members across the globe. The organization creates collaborative relationships with governmental authorities, professional organizations, academia and industry leaders, and participates in the regulator y processes related to human, animal and environmental health.
“SQA provides great opportunities for regulatory in sight, career training, and professional networking,” said Cook. “As its new VP, I look forward to strengthening the society’s specialty sections and regio nal chapters. The economy for the last few years has challenged the way we connect with colleagues, both here and outside the United States. We need to explore innovative ways to improve accessibility to training through libraries of webinars, regional meetings and specialty section presentations that can enhance SQA members’ development and growth.”

The Vice-President is the second highest-ranking elected officer of the Society.
