Coghlin Companies have made a substantial investment in a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by upgrading to Epicor E9. The new system is completely redesigned and is a service-oriented, architecture based system. E9 provides a fully integrated enterprise management system with end-to-end supply chain management capabilities. This facilitates lean manufacturing capabilities, which reduces costs and increases flexibility for customers, resulting in improved product launches and overall customer satisfaction.

“Our customers depend on rapid “time-to-market” and “turn-on-a-dime” flexibility with their manufacturing partner,” said Randy Ziffer, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Columbia Tech. He continued, “E9 profoundly enhances Coghlin Companies’ ability to provide this high level of service.”

The system is tailored for manufacturing enterprises, providing one of the best ERP capabilities in contract manufacturing. E9 will support Coghlin Comp anies’ commitment to provide customers with the most cost effective and flexible service model in the industry. It has been implemented by Columbia Tech as well as DCI Engineering, resulting in a common, efficient platform across these divisions.
